A Court Of Thorns And Roses Review by Sarah J Maas

A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J Maas Review:

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow over the faerie lands is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it…or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

So if you don’t already know, I am absolutely unashamedly OBSSESSED with SARAH J MAAS Books and I love her and her books and her characters and JUST EVERYTHING. SO on to the review. A Court of Thorns And Roses revolves around Feyre, a human who kills a wolf one day in the woods who happens to be a Fae and that’s when her whole world falls apart.

Feyre is taken by a Fae called Tamlin, and she is forced to live in Prythian because she killed a fae and her punishment is to pay with her life (in a way). After she arrives she is introduced to the Spring Court , which is where she must live  out the rest of her days.  WE are then introduced into the land of Prythian, it is divided into 7 courts that are ruled by 7 high lords.

Feyre has to endure many challenges when she is taken to the Spring Court. She is haunted by the thoughts of her family and has some trouble adjusting to her new life in Prythian with Tamlin in the Spring Court.

Feyre is expected to be taken as a prisoner but instead she is treated like a guest, given freedom , clothes and food. As time progresses Feyre realizes that there is something wrong with Prythian, there is a darkness and evil that lurks within it. Can Feyre be Prythian’s salvation or will she be it’s doom?

A Court Of Thorns and Roses is the first book in the ” A Court Of Thorns And Roses” series by Ssarah J Maas. You guys should definitely check out her ” Throne Of Glass ” series, it’s another favorite of mine. On a Scale of 1-10 I’d give this book a 10/10 or 5/5 stars.

I hope you all enjoyed my review and it encourages you to go and grab ACOTAR and read it!! This has quickly become one of my favorites of 2015 !If you have any comments or book recs comment down below!
